Beth Harrison's Show N' Go was a smashing sucsess!

Tom Nickles didn't join the Pod this day -- but helped the other paddlers with their boats at the ramp.  Tom confirmed the rumor that he did, in fact, achieve his certification as an American Canoe Association Sea Kayak Instructor Trainer.  This very prestigious certification, awarded by Instructor Trainer/Educator Steve Hutton, means that Tom can train and certify sea kayak instructors.

The Pod launched and followed Beth down the Folly River.  Annie was thrilled -- she is a new yakker and this was her first group trip.  Lydia was thrilled -- this was the first time she paddled her new Impex Force 3 -- having been out of the paddling scene recorvering from some shoulder surgery.  The other 11 paddlers were thrilled -- light wind, bright sunshine and great companions.  Some other sea mammals joined our Pod as we made our way toward Bird Key -- lots of playful dolphins!
